EARLY SKIN CANCER DIAGNOSIS

Skin cancer is currently the most common type of tumor in humans, and its incidence continues to rise steadily. Early diagnosis is the most important prognostic factor, as there is a direct link between the stage of tumor progression and both morbidity and mortality rates.

TYPES OF SKIN CANCER

Among skin cancers, the most common types are:

  • Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, which are primarily linked to chronic, cumulative sun exposure.

  • Melanoma, which is more often associated with intermittent, intense sun exposure (such as sunburns) and usually arises from moles.

Of these, melanoma poses the greatest risk to life. For this reason, regular skin checkups are essential to detect malignant or premalignant lesions at an early stage and to minimize the risk of future complications.

foto finder systems

FotoFinder is a digital dermatoscopy system designed to support the early detection of skin cancer. It combines full-body mapping with detailed monitoring of moles and skin lesions over time. By using high-resolution imaging and advanced software—now enhanced with Artificial Intelligence—it can accurately identify skin changes, enabling earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment.
