CLINICAL DERMATOLOGY

The skin, being the largest and most visible organ of the body, requires specialized care to maintain its health and appearance.

At Bederma, through our dedication to clinical dermatology, we address a wide range of dermatological conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails, of adults and children. From treating common conditions to early detection of more serious problems, our specialists are here to offer you reliable and effective solutions.

WHAT IS CLINICAL DERMATOLOGY?

Dermatology specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin diseases, as well as disorders affecting the hair and nails. Beyond addressing cosmetic concerns, this field also manages complex medical conditions that can profoundly influence a patient’s health and quality of life.

ECZEMA AND RASHES

Acne is one of the most common dermatological problems affecting both adolescents and adults. At Bederma, we offer personalized treatments that include topical and oral therapies and advanced procedures such as pulsed light to control breakouts and improve skin appearance.

We treat all types of warts, including common warts and molluscum contagiosum, using methods that minimize pain, maximize effectiveness and ensure clear, healthy skin.

Eczema is managed with daily moisturizers, topical steroids or calcineurin inhibitors, and sometimes antifungal shampoos (for seborrheic eczema), while severe cases may need light therapy or systemic medicines. Rashes are treated based on their cause. In all cases, avoiding triggers (harsh soaps, allergens, irritants) and keeping the skin barrier healthy is key.

We carry out detailed examinations to detect skin cancer, and help to identify and treat suspicious lesions as early as possible.

We offer advanced treatment options for psoriasis, including biologic therapies and topical treatments that can significantly reduce the symptoms of this chronic condition.
